Hotels We Love: Kimpton De Witt Amsterdam

Kimpton‘s first international location set in one of Amsterdam’s best locations is a sure-fire crowd pleaser with its fun, fresh and modern interiors, making it feel more like a boutique hotel and its reasonable rates.

The Kimpton De Witt Amsterdam is so close to the train station that taking a taxi there would be a waste! It’s also within steps of New Church and Dam Square, giving this area such magnetic energy. I absolutely loved being in the heart of it all.

Rooms
The rooms are quite spacious given European standards and since this hotel just opened in 2017, the hotel is brand new and equipped with all of the latest technology and outlets / USB ports in all of the right places as well as complimentary WiFi and a Nespresso machine.

Penthouse Suite
If you’re looking to splurge, the Penthouse De Witt surely does not disappoint. Located on the 6th floor, the penthouse suite has a mini entry way with a stunning spiral staircase that leads you up to one of the most spacious rooms fully equipped with two restrooms, a guest closet, a walk in closet, dining table, living room and a massive terrace with stunning views over Amsterdam.

Dining
Perk: The complimentary Kimpton wine service at 5pm.

Wyers Bar & Restaurant
The hotel adds American comfort food to the culinary scene in Amsterdam and the atmosphere is just as warm and cozy as the food.

House Bar
The dimly lit modern yet warm atmosphere serves up chic drinks and caters to guests and locals alike.
