Hotels We Love: XV Beacon, Boston

You know that feeling when you walk into a hotel room and you just know you’re not going to want to leave? Well that’s exactly how I felt when I walked into my Studio Room at XV Beacon in Boston. It’s no wonder the XV Beacon, a member of Preferred Hotels tops numerous lists of being one of the best hotels in the USA.

Established in 1999, the design is one where old meets new and the two worlds mesh beautifully. XV Beacon is ideally located in the best part of town on Beacon Hill, just steps away from the Old State House and the Massachusetts State House.

The hotel’s rooftop has hands-down one of the best views in Boston, overlooking the Massachusetts State House and extending all the way to Cambridge.

Though the XV Beacon only has 63 hotel rooms, they’re quite spacious, especially the Studio Room boasting gorgeous city views from its large windows, modern furnishings, and my personal favorite – a gas fireplace.

Also home to one of the best steakhouses in town, Mooo Restaurant is located in the lobby area and also offers in-room dining and a gorgeous wine cellar available for dinner parties. After a long day of traveling, I ordered room service and the Wagyu beef with frites and Malbec, surely did not disappoint!

Very beautiful and modern looking hotel! Definitely nice place to stay. My favorite is the rooftop though 🙂
