Insider Guide to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

April 18, 2015

This city is definitely one of the best destinations in the world for outdoor activities, such as hiking, trekking, surfing, and wake boarding to name a few. The landscape around the city is so magnificent that it is popularly known by “Marvelous city”.

Where to Eat
Locals and foreigners alike love Aprazível restaurant. Besides the beautiful and traditional Brazilian dishes, the view of Guanabara Bay is the perfect place to watch the sunset from your dining table tucked away in the treehouse setting of the unique restaurant.

Where to Stay
Promenade Palladium is my favorite hotel in Rio. The staff is attentive and they have a way of making you feel right at home. The location is ideal with it being just a 2 minute walk from the best beach spot of the city and a  5 – 15 minute walk to many popular restaurants, supermarkets, stores, malls and other city’s attractions.

By night, the city offers many restaurants and parties to go to. For drinks with an epic view, visit Skylab in the Rio Othon palace hotel. And if you visit Rio in February, you will even have the chance to experience Carnival, the biggest party in the world!

Londra at Fasano hotel – another city hot spot for a fashionable and chic setting.
